Yayasan Kanopi Indonesia Yayasan Kanopi Indonesia is a non-profit CSO established on October 5, 2000, with the renewal of deed No. 18 March 2016. Our activities include the conservation of biodiversity and ecology-based research for sustainable biodiversity utilization for the local community, and the aim is to disseminate that information.
To realize an independent Indonesian society in protecting biodiversity wisely and socially responsible.

Research and Monitoring
The research and monitoring conducted by Yayasan Kanopi Indonesia are not just meant to gain scientific knowledge of spesies, distribution and popullation, but also conserve it through sustainable use
Awareness
Increase understanding and knowledge of the function of biodiversity in the communities of the site
Integrated Management
Yayasan Kanopi Indonesia is conscious about the fact that species-based conservation alone is not sustainable for the long-term management
Capacity Building
Research and sustainable use of biodiversity requires advanced skills and experience that are rarely taught in academic institutions in Indonesia
WHERE WE WORK
The Yayasan Kanopi Indonesia office is located on Jalan Candi Winangun, Gang Randu I, Candi Karang RT 003 / RW 009, Sardonoharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Over the past few years, we have carried out several research and conservation projects in Yogyakarta, Cilacap, Semarang, Palembang, Bali, Surabaya, East Nusa Tenggara and other areas. The Indonesian Kanopi Foundation hopes to expand its activities throughout Indonesia
